ABSTRACT

Slides taken from samples will be scanned and automatically analyzed for possible presence of diseases. Thereafter, the system will shift to a higher magnification and return to a suspected area for a more detailed scan so that the expert pathologist will have a ready starting point for his diagnosis.

ABSTRACT

This project will study ground displacements as one of the probable precursors of landslides. Remote-controlled toy aircrafts will be fitted with wireless video cameras that transmit images to PC's on the ground. The PC's, in turn, will analyze these images for possible displacements.
