The parallel and serial ports provide communication with the outside world. At the same time, CE-150 also takes up the formulation of algorithms, which control these two sets of ports.
The students are free to choose the software tools that they fell comfortable using. In any case, these tools should allow the user to “single step” the program.

The preference is to use the PC, so that many of the hardware connections are already in place, and the learning process could proceed immediately in an interactive manner.However, if a student chooses to work things out using a microprocessor of his choice, then this should be acceptable.
- Just like any other professional activity, CE-150 would use the time-honored criteria of quality, timeliness, and the compliance with approved functions.
