1 the input pulse is accepted at pin #14 of the "binary-coded decimal" (BCD).
2 pins 2 and 3, as well as pins 6 and 7 are connected to ground for the 7490 to start counting.
3 the most significant bit of BCD counter is sent to the "B" input of the 7492.
4 pins 6 and 7 of the 7492 are also connected to ground for the divide-by-six counter.
5 display is provided through the 7447, a seven-segment decoder.
